The short version: you can read this website without an account. It has no ads, but it uses WordPress.com site statistics as explained below.
This blog is a companion to the game. It has no visitor accounts or comments. You can ask to join the Android test using our sign-up form. It does not use advertising scripts. It currently loads Jetpack Stats, a website statistics service from Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com.
Like any website, the company that hosts it may keep ordinary server logs (for example a visitor’s IP address and the pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
If you watch a cinematic hosted on YouTube, nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play, and it then uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
Website statistics
Jetpack Stats receives information about visits, such as the page and referring URL, time, IP address, browser information and language. If you are signed into WordPress.com, it may also receive your WordPress.com account details. This service produces website usage statistics; the site owner does not see individual visitor IP addresses or WordPress.com identities in those reports.
Automattic says its Stats logs are retained for 28 days. See Automattic’s notice for website visitors and Jetpack Stats’ data and privacy information for its handling of information. Your browser’s privacy tools may block statistics requests; you can still read these pages.
The game
What the game itself stores about players, why, and how to delete it is explained in the game’s own privacy policy. If you’re a kid, it’s a good idea to read it with a grown-up.

When you send the tester form, we keep your Google Play email, your confirmation that you are a parent or guardian or are 13 or older, and any name, device model or message you choose to add. If you are under 13, ask a parent or guardian to sign up with their email. Please do not send passwords, sign-in codes or payment details.
We use this information to add you to the Google Play tester list and answer your request. Requests are stored privately on this WordPress site. We delete them after 90 days, with automatic cleanup on the next scheduled site visit, or sooner if you ask us. The Google Play tester list is a separate list managed in Google Play; ask us if you want to leave it too. Emails we exchange with you are covered by the support messages section below.
Our notification to the site owner says that a request arrived and how many are waiting. It includes a link to the private administrator page. It does not include your email or the other form fields. Telegram delivers the default notification; an email to the site owner may be used if it fails.
The form uses a short-lived, salted hash of your internet address to limit repeated requests. The form does not store your raw internet address; the separate hosting logs mentioned above may still contain it. You can ask to see, correct or delete your stored request by emailing support@spinningmonkeystudios.com.
Support messages and your choices
For support, refund requests or privacy questions, email support@spinningmonkeystudios.com. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use this to answer you and resolve the issue. Please do not send passwords, sign-in codes or full card details.
We may retain correspondence to handle follow-up questions, disputes or legal obligations. You can ask us to see, correct or delete it; we will explain any record we need to keep for a legal or ongoing business reason.
The game has optional online accounts for players aged 13 or older; this companion website does not. Optional web Coin purchases are available to signed-in game accounts; Stripe handles payment and billing details. Billing records are retained for six years after the end of the relevant calendar tax year, longer for unresolved disputes or legal requirements. The game’s privacy policy explains account data, deletion and the limited payment verification records that can remain after account deletion.
